part 11, 2012

Last weekend me and P went over to a friends house for a boardgame night. We brought moustaches for everyone.

L & T had just come home from a warm holiday in Maldives and were all nice & tanned!

The weather has been so horrible recently, rainy and cold wind going into yours bones. Anyhow, the flowers were underneath roof so they needed water :)

and then we walked through the heavy head-wind and to the bus and to the bed and then up for work a couples of hours later. Zzzzz Great night!

part 10, 2012

Me and Paul has now moved to our own place in north London, and we love it! I will tell more about it when we've settled in a bit more. :)

before a night out-crazyness

part 8, 2012

when I'm working late I always start the day with a slow, snuggly breakfast.

part 7, 2012

the next day we went to the photographic museum. (still freezing cold outside)

One of the great exhibitions we saw was Antons Corbijns 'inwards and onwards' with classic corbijns motives of famous faces. (google pics)

we had a coffee with a lovely view of the river.

on the other side of the river the big theme park look more like a ghost park in the thick fog.

when we got outside there was a snowstorm and a thick fog made it impossible to see the before visible other side of the river.

we went for some quick touristing and then for a lovely fish meal in the old town. (love the dancing cats on the wall)

we stayed with my lovely lovely friend Jen! We went out for some drinks after her work.

very cute lil place with thousands of little corners everywhere.

the next stop was to a bar Jen used to go to very often when she was younger, but apparentely the theme had changed to a very tacky vampire bar...

..

<3 <3 <3

then we went to another place which had over 300 types of beers. We had a smoked beer that tasted...Very smoked!

..and that was the last chapter of the stockholm & sweden story for a while.

part 6, 2012

It was superfreezing in stockholm so we got all our gears on :D

very big, famous (for being the meeting point for drugdealers...) square 'sergelstorg'

The fluffy cotton-snowflakes never stopped falling on our noses

we accidentally walked past the castle when they were having changing of the guards.

one of Pauls biggest excitement was the big 'vasa ship'. Not really swedens biggest pride... The maiden voyage didn't go that far, it actually sank just by the harbour and after 200 years the managed to restore it and put it in a museum.

If you wanted to you could play backgammon with a good view of the ship.

f-f-f-f-freeeeeezing! after this shot we were screaming 'GET THOSE GLOVES ON QUICK QUICK BEFORE OUR FINGERS FALLS OFF' :D

high up with an amazing view over the city we had a drink and got our souls warmed up again.

I must admit freezing winter can be amazingly beautiful.

then we both were on a hunt for a good pizzeria. And that's harder than u could think in a city you hardly know. So first person with a pizza carton in their hand we stopped and soon we got to the simple little place.

also, it was the first kebabpizza for Paul, which doesn't really exist in London. (weirdly enough! I feel sad for people who have never tried this dream :D).
