part 23, 2011

the next day in Spain we decided to go to a small town called nerja, known for some historic sights and lovely climat. On our way there we stopped at a gas station and I snapped a photo of the cutest dog I've ever seen. Look at that face!

when we got there it was hot and, very quiet and all houses were mediterranean-white.

after we had a cup of coffee we decided to go with the towns' tourist-train, all very excited as you can see. Although it wasn't really a tour unless driving around in your own neighbourhood, chatting to all your mates, is the new type of tour. A different type of tour, for sure.

so many lovely balcony-inspirations.

in general the people of Nerja were very friendly and I think they were all a big fan of the 'tour'-train.

and kitty cats of Nerja also seemed to have a good, laid back life, having siesta all day long.

and then we came to 'the balcony of Europe' which is an amazing viewpoint over the mediterranean sea.

the ocean was unbelievably postcard-turquoise

then it was time for next sight in Nerja: the Aqueduct of Nerja. Unfortunately they've restored it a month before we came and it lost it's old, antique feeling to it.

anyhow it was a lovely view even there and all in all the town was very picturesque and beautiful. A lovely day!
